Now try this one. Assume the following parameters:

  • inductance of 1 henry
  • resistance of 2 ohms
  • capacitance of 1/4 farad

With initial conditions:

  • I(0) = 0 amperes
  • q(0) = 0 coulombs

The voltage source is now oscillating, according to the formula:

  • E(t) = 50 cos t volts

Don't forget to use:

I'(0) = (E(0) - R I(0) - q(0)/C) / L

again to "fix" your initial conditions.

Use sol5 as the solution variable this time, plot on the interval 0 ≤ t ≤ 15, and make the plot blue.
